The book is a “Special 2007 Souvenir First Edition for the Fest for Beatles Fans. It says on the cover: “The man that got the sound that changed the world”. And “Norman Smith has been credited with creating the sound of The Beatles.” A key member of The Beatles’ music production team at EMI, Norman Smith engineered all their studio recordings until the end of 1965. Mr. Smith passed at 85 years old in 2008.
